This nurse of the street was asked to do a presentation and community outreach orientation with 8 first year medical students as part of the UC Davis School of Medicine orientation of new medical students. This nurse of the streets spent part of the day out on rounds on the streets and in the camps doing follow ups and wound care. Spent part of the afternoon in meetings with community groups. Then back out making house calls in one of our under served and marginalized neighborhoods.
