It was a beautiful day today

This nurse of the streets spent part of it with a great group of medical and nursing students. We met up at a local park where a group puts on a meal on the third Sunday of the month and provides some clothing for the homeless. Most of the folks we spoke to today were doing pretty well though we did make a couple of referrals to a local clinic. We then took a hike with our friend Dee down to her camp as some of the students had not yet been out. We checked on a women we have been following for several months now and she has agreed to come to the clinic this week. It was a beautiful day just to be “going to the people” and sometimes just listening and assuring our folks that people do care.
